Abstract
PURPOSE: To sepatate aromatic isomers of 8 carbons that are industrially difficult to separate because of mutual approximation of their specific volatilities by adsorbing the isomers on an adsorbent of crystalline alumina silicate and then desorbing them using a replacing agent or an additive of 4 or more carbon alcohols.
