Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for detecting cargoes piled up in plural stages, intended for use in unmanned cargo handling operation, in which cargo detectors are provided on cargo handling vehicles at predetermined portions thereof, whereby stage number of piled-up cargoes to be received or forwarded can be known automatically on the vehicle.
