Abstract
PURPOSE: Bundles of acrylic fibers are brought into contact with a surface having a curvature radius of less than 5 mm under tension above 1 mg/d and opened. Then pre-oxidation is conducted to prevent fusion between filaments, thus improving the quality of carbon fiber products.
