Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve attraction of a movable iron core of an electromagnetic brake by providing thereto a rod having one end received in a hole formed in a stationary iron core for slidable movement therein and the other end affixed to the movable iron core so as to effect the application and release of the braking force by the vertical axial movement of the rod.
