Abstract

The bearing journal connected to the piston rod (8) is supplied with lubricating oil via a flexible conduit (29). Receiving grooves (17) in the upper bearing part (1) are fed via radial holes (16). The oil reaches the lower bearing surface via further flow paths (20, 24, 25, 23). Since the oil crosses from the journal to the bearing in the upper bearing half, there is no reduction in the area of the highly loaded lower bearing surface due to receiving grooves (17) and feed holes (16). <IMAGE>
