Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the solute removing rate or increase the water permeating rate of a semi-permeable membrane made of cellulose acetate with specified degree of acetylation by contacting the membrane with an aq. soln. of a water sol. solvent, a water sol. non. solvent or an aq. soln. of the non-solvent.
