Abstract

PURPOSE:To plan effective use of heat from molten slag as well as obtain uniformly granulated slag by providing a first movable cooling bed for solidifying the molten slag to a fixed size and a second movable cooling bed for cooling the solidified slag in a nearly closed furnace and circulating a refrigerant gas so as to absorb heat from the slag.
