Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate solid/liquid separation by the oxidation of absorbent solution of degraded denitrating ability, the solution which has been used in simultaneous desulfurization and denitration, in addition to alkali treatment with slaked lime or quick lime, these treatments increasing rate of settling of solid matter consisting of iron and NOx components which causes the deterioration of the absorbent.
