Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an electric cleaner, having a large dust collecting capacity and an effective dust removing or detaching structure, wherein an electrically driven fan and a cord reel are mounted on the same shaft to be rotated in unitary manner, and turning shafts for the cord reel and a pre-filter are arranged coaxially with each other.
CONSTITUTION: Pre-filter 3 disposed at an openlng located at the junction between main body 2 and dust box 1 are formed integrally with shaft 3a. An electrically driven fan 14 is placed in a drum 6b of cord reed 6, and cord 15 is wound around the drum 6b. When cord 15 is pulled out, cord reel 6 is rotated together with fan 14 and main filter 16, and vibration is applied to main filter 16 through contact between spring 18 and an outward projection of main filter 16, whereby fine dust attached to the surface of main filter 16 is dropped therefrom and collected in fine- dust collecting case 19. On the other hand, since pre-filter 3 is also rotated in association with cord reel 6, dust attached to the pre-filter 3 is also detached therefrom so that loading of pre-filter 3 can be prevented.
