Abstract

PURPOSE: For effective waste heat utilization and dust discharge prevention, the apparatus is provided with a preduster and a heat exchanger through which air for cooling sintered ore is air-tightly circulated.
CONSTITUTION: The trough or conveyor system 2 includes an ore feeder 14, ore exhauster 15, a distribution duct 1 having distribution dampers 11, and a draft duct 3 having flue 4. This conveying system is arranged in an annular form so as to reduce installation area by eliminating return passage of the conveyor 2. The changeover damper 10 installed in flue 4 is connected to the exhaustion conduit 17 having another damper 12 to communicate with the heat exchanger 6 which functions as a waste heat boiler. Midway of the draft passage 18 are located an afterduster 7, and further downstream, a cool air inlet 8 having a damper which regulates temperature and air flow. These components comprise a system which eliminates dust exhaust and effectuates utilization of waste heat.
