Abstract
PURPOSE: To transport without dispersing by mixing the incinerated ashes of radioactive solid waste with a radioactive waste liquid and by pulverizing a radioactive waste liquid with mixed condition of incinerated ashes, forming pellet composing of powder mixed with incinerated ashes.
CONSTITUTION: Radioactive waste liquid 2 having the main constituent of sodium sulfate is supplied from the slurry tank 1 to the mixing tank 3. On the other hand, radioactive incinerated ashes 5 of incinerated ashes tank 4, after removing comparative large foreign substances 16 such as wires and nails with the sieve 15, are supplied into the mixing tank 3. The foreign substances are folled down on the sieve 15 to keep within the solid waste container 17. In mixing tank 3, radioactive waste 2 and radioactive incinerated ashes 5 are uniformly mixed, producing the mixed waste liquid, and supplying within centrifugal film drier 9 with aid of pump 8. Nextly, they are granulated with the granulation machine located under the drier 9 to fill into the storage container 14.
