Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily and exactly carrying a structure on a barge and convey out it from a dock even if the weight of the structure exceeds the hoisting capacity of a crane in a method of conveying out the large structure built in a dock onto the barge.
CONSTITUTION: A surface plate 6 is carried on two bases 3 as a foundation for installing at field by a crane within second stage 1B of a dock 1, and a large structure P is assembled on the plate 6 with necessary pipes and devices. After the structure P is completed, an intermediate door 2 is closed and a door 5 is opened to introduce a barge 4 into the first stage 1A with sea water. Then, the door 5 is closed to drain the sea water in the stage 1A to thereby stabilize the barge 4 on a block 15. Then, the door 2 is opened to move the bases 3 along rails 7, 8 by a winch or the like onto the barge 4. Then, water is again introduced into the stage 1A so as to support the structure P in floated state.
