Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate an assembly and a disassembly by reversing current direction of the first and the second form control coils provided within the toroidal coil and connecting the first and the second form control coils with cross over track.
CONSTITUTION: Deuterium and tritium are sealed within a toroidal coil generating magnetic field as a plasma. Around the plasma 2 the form control coils 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b are provided to allow the cross section form of plasma to make longitudinal elipse form. In the form control coil 3a and 3b, the current is flowing in the same direction with plasma 2. In the form coils 4a, 4b, the current is flowing in the reverse direction of plasma 2. The form control coils 3a, 4a are cut at several locations along the torus direction and connected with crossover track 7, which may not interlink with the toroidal coil 1. In addition, the magnetic field of crossover track 7 is de-energized.
