Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a pipe fitting which assures easy handling and secure coupling by such a construction that at least one projection is provided on the inner circumferential surface and non-continuous male thread is excavated on the outer circumferential surface and further a sleeve provided with a slot in its axial direction is compressed centripetally.
CONSTITUTION: A sleeve member 2 which contains a tube 3 to be coupled is inserted into the collar member 1 until its contact surface 8 contacts the sleeve stopper part 4, where the male screws 9, 9' and the female screws 6, 6' shall be positioned so that they do not engage each other.
