Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an alarm system for elevator, which is arranged not to be operated to mischievous calls to attain effective surveillance of elevator.
CONSTITUTION: The alarm system of this invention is provided with a circuit for actuating alarm unit F only when call button C continues to be pushed for a certain time period or when it is pushed certain times in a predetermined while. When call button C continues to be pushed, timer T is set into operation after a predetermined time later and contact T1 is closed, whereby relay TA is turned ON and contact TA1 is maintained in its closed position. By the energization of relay TA, contact TA2 is closed thereby affording all signal to alarm unit F continuously. When the alarm unit F responds to the call, contact Fa is closed and maintained in the position. On the other hand, response signal contact Fb is opened at the time, so that relay TA is released. When operation of alarm unit F is terminated and response signal is interrupted, alarm operation is finished completely.
