Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a metal-made door which has massive stereoscopic variety -rich appearance like a wooden door and has stable quality which is one of advantages of metal-made door.
CONSTITUTION: Positive or negative photographs 2W23 corresponding to wooden pieces are combined with one another so that a large positive or neagative photo graph of 1756 mm in height is obtained. Then, a printing plate is manufactured on a drum of 22 inches in diameter. A main pattern consisting of different wooden patterns is printed by the printing plate on a plate of metal such as aluminium, steel, etc. for the door. Patterns are repeatedly printed on a top part or bottom part of the door. As a result, a surface material 24 for the metal-made door is obtained. Tridimensional frames 49 are fixed around wooden patterns 2'W11', 25'W34' of the surface material 24 so that a metal-made door panel 50 of stereoscopic appea rance is produced.
