Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a form fluttering by utilizing the pressure difference, which is generated by generating the air flow in one face of form along plural slits formed on a guide table where a mark read head is arranged, to adsorb the form.
CONSTITUTION: Form 3 is fed onto guide table 4' by roller 7. When the fed form covers slits 81 to 8n, the air sucked by vacuum pump 2 through vacuum chamber 6 flows from the A part in the left into slits 81 to 8n and flows toward the B part in chamber 6 through hole 9 in the upper part of the chamber. Therefore, the air flow in the lower face of form 3 is more rapid than that in the upper face, and the pressure under the form becomes low. Then, form 3 is adsorbed to guide table 4', and the form surface is read by mark read head 1. As a result, the form is prevented from fluttering.
