Abstract

PURPOSE:To conduct a stable control of fuel/air ratio by detecting the opening of a fuel valve and an air valve, comparing the detected values with set points, and adjusting the opening of one of the valves so as to keep a constant fuel/air ratio. CONSTITUTION:A butterfly gas valve 2 fitted to a gas pipe 1 and a butterfly air valve 4 fitted to an air pipe 3 are directly coupled with modutrol motors 62 and 64 respectively. Slide rheostats R2 and R4 are directly fitted to the drive shafts 2A and 4A of the valves. The motor 62 is controlled by a temperature adjuster 8 which works on the basis of the temperature signal from a sensor S. Slide rheostats R2 and R4 are connected with an operation control unit 5 and compared with set points for the control of the motor 64.
