Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify structure and provide good holding function by tight fitting a spacer and runners on a through shaft by applying an axial extension.
CONSTITUTION: A through shaft 1 is fitted with a spacer 4 and runners 6 and 7. A jack consisting of a piston 12, cylinder 13, cylinder 13, high-pressure oil 14, and jack spacer 15 is fitted on the screwed portion at the shaft end, and the jack is used for appliying load between the shaft 1 and the elements such as the runners 6 and 7 for completing the whole fitting by one-time operation. The jack is removed, a nut 8 is fitted at the right shaft end, and a jack consisting of a jack spacer 16 and the elements 12, 13, and 14 is mounted. The nut 8 is tightened from a hole 17 in the spacer 16. When proper tightening is obtained, the jack is removed and a setscrew 11 is fitted for preventing loosening.
