Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a stable video signal accurately by sending a DC error component detected from a composition circuit to a voltage control adder, where a ratio of addition between square waves opposite in polarity is set corresponding to the error component, and by feeding the ratio back to the composition circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal which should be corrected is applied to input terminal 11 and then led to composition circuit 12; the addition of a DC correction signal is made and the signal is outputted 13 after being corrected. The output of circuit 12 is supplied to DC-error detection circuit 14, where the mean DC level of the input signal is compared with a fixed level, and the error component is applied to voltage control adder 16 via LPF15; and adder 16 sets a ratio of addition between square waves opposite in polarity corresponding to the error component and then feeds the DC output back to circuit 12. Consequently, the DC error is corrected which is included in the video signal and changes in every 1H period.
