Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to feed power after confirming safety, etc., by providing a switch method which determines whether or not a CPU should be actuated immediately when a power supply recovers.
CONSTITUTION: Once actuation signal TR is applied, oscillation circuit OSC operates to open AND gate A1, and sequential control circuit SQCL drives each unit and also sends out an end signal via line 10. By this signal, AND gates A2, A3 and A4 all open to send out start signal CPUST to a CPU. Then, A2 opens by a signal other than ON-line mode signal RUN. Further, A3 opens when RUN arrives and external assignment switch S for the operation of the CPU is OFF, and A4 opens when RUN arrives and A5 opens with switch S ON. In addition, A5 opens by being supplied with control signal RMST prescribing the operation of the CPU. In case of a system in which a CPU should not be started when its power supply recovers from a break, switch S is turned ON and after the safety, etc., are confirmed, a RMST signal is supplied.
