Abstract

PURPOSE:To make flying of magnetic fluid easy and enable recording of even dots free from uneven recording to be performed by giving vibrations owing to dynamic magnetic field to the built-up portions of magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:Static magnetic fluxes are guided by a multiplicity of magnetic material styli 11 from a permanent magnet 14 and an electromagnet 17 is installed orthogonally thereto, in the position below 1 mm from the needle end. When voltage is applied to power source terminal 13 and the magnetic magnetisms at their crossing points become mutually of the same polarities, magnetic fuild is built-up at the ends of the recording styli 11. Hence, the power source terminal 13 flows coil current in the direction where the magnetic polarities at the crossing points become of the same polarities and dynamic magnetic fields are generated by turning this ON and OFF or analog-controlling this. The magnetic fluid 12 makes vibrations of build-up and yield in synchronization to the dynamic magnetic fields of the electromagnet 17 at the recording. In correspondence to the image signals synchronized to the build-up time of these vibrations, the magnetic fluid flies off to a recording medium 15, thus forming the recording images.
