Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve particles' electrification effects by arranging relative positions of discharging pole and grounding pole of adjoining electrified sections alternately and also by taking care so that respective discharging poles are not duplicated in the direction of air flow.
CONSTITUTION: Electrified sections are installed in plural steps in the direction of gas flow, and discharging poles 1,1 and grounding poles 2,2 of adjoining electrified sections are installed in staggered positions so that front step and rear step are not duplicated or overlapped. As to the electrification rate distribution of particles flowing in together with pollution gas, the electrification rate as of the time when they are passing the 1st step electrified section terminal consisting of the discharging pole 1 and the grounding pole 2 and also that as of the time when they are passing the 2nd step electrified section terminal consisting of discharging pole 1 and grounding pole 2 are as depicted in the chart. The total electrification rate b of particle is the peak value of the 1st step and the 2nd step.
