Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a simple and efficient molding method, comprising attracting powdery plastic to the surface of an upper mold having micro-porous surface and furnished with a suction means.
CONSTITUTION: An upper mold 1 having micro-porous surface and made of, e.g. sintered metal, is put in a tank containing powdery plastic. The plastic powder 3 is attracted to the surface of the mold by actuating the suction means built in the mold. The upper mold 1 covered with the powder is inserted into a lower mold 4, and heated pref. by blasting hot air through the porous upper mold 1. The powdery plastic can be directly molded by this method without pelletizing process.
