Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve accuracy in displaying and controlling temperature through a digital-processing of temperature detection signal in a control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: An output signal from a temperature probe 12 is inputted to one terminal of a comparator 14 through an amplifier 13. In addition, a signal from a temperature data generation circuit 10 is inputted to the other terminal thereof through a D-A conversion circuit 11. The output of the comparator 14 varies from a low level to a high level in proximity of food temperature to be detected with the probe 12. Activated by a signal generated when the output of the comparator 14 is increased from a low level to a high level, the output of the circuit 10 is temporarily stored in a letter code address signal generation circuit 8 which provides a signal to control the lighting of a display section 1.
