Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the take-up property of the magnetic tape of a cartridge and the running stability and to prevent the electrostatic noises by forming conductive radial protrusions on the side facing the end face of a magnetic tape.
CONSTITUTION: A sheet 1 for a cassette tape 1 is prepared by applying carbon black to the substrate of polyester while using a high molecular material such as vinyl chloride as a binder, and is supplied with conductivity. The sheet 1 thus prepared is formed with radial protrusion 3 and is mounted in a cassette half such that the protrusion 3 faces the tape end. Thus, since the contacting area with the tape can be reduced while ensuring the stable contact, the take-up of stable and uniform friction can be performed so that the take-up torque and electrostatic noises can be remarkably reduced.
