The cap, having a slight gap with electrodes, is deep enough to cover the vibrating part of each electrode. Therefore, an operator is required only to insert the element allowing its tip to touch the internal bottom surface, which results in a simple operation. Since the gap between the cap and ceramic element body is a little, resin 36 never flows into the cap during the projection molding, and consequently the space for free vibrations can be maintained, so that characteristics will be stabilized with large strength.
