Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve the miniaturization of the mover and the reduction of its power consumption by locking the slide base which has been moved by temporary energizing of a solenoid and performing the unlocking of this through temporary energizing of the other solenoid.
CONSTITUTION: According to reproduction operation of the like, a solenoid 100 is energized and a reproduction operating lever 32 is moved by way of an actuator 102 and a solenoid lever 41, after which it is locked by the lock pin of a lock arm 43, and at the same time the solenoid 100 is de-energized. Hence, the slide base 23 cooperating to the pin 34 of the arm 43 is also detained in the specified position. A playback head 25, pinch roller 82, etc. are then put in a reproduction state by means of the U-groove of the base 23 and the control arm or the like provided with a pin. This mechanical locking is released by the solenoid 116 which is temporarily energized by stop operation, then the base 23, etc. are reset by way of a spring, etc. The same holds true even at the recording thus the solenoids become smaller in size because they are both simply energized temporarily. At the same time, the power source, etc. become small in size and the mover becomes of small size and low power consumption.
