Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an electric clothes drier to be equal to a long-period operation without deterioration of performance by providing a high-temperature heat-generating body, consisting of a nichrome wire heater, etc., in the neighborhood of a heat-generating body consisting of a positive resistance temperature characteristics element so that fine particles of dust adhering to the heat-generating body can be burned out by the heat.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-generating body 8 consisting of PTC (Positive Resistance Temperature Characteristics Element) is provided in a duct 7, and a high-temperature heat-generating body 9 is to consist of a nichrome wire heater, etc., provided in the neighborhood of the heat-generating body 8.
