Abstract

PURPOSE: To give a high dehumidifying ability with a small amount of electric power by rendering the resistance of a heater to be variable by dividing an auxiliary heater for air heating into ones to be connected in series with a fan motor and ones to be in parallel therewith.
CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary heater for air heating is divided into three heaters 11 to 13, each having different power consumption and switched automatically by the signal from an outdoor and indoor temperature sensing part. In the dehumidifying operation, a switch 17 is switched so that a fan motor 2 is powered only through the heater, and thus operated at a different low speed depending on a combination of a different low speed depending on a combination of the contacts of first to third heater switching relays 14 to 16. According to such operation, the power consumption is also different. Thus, despite of the simplified dehumidifying function, the temperature range for a confortable dehumidification can be enlarged and the power consumption can be decreased.
