Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the base station to know existance of the mobile station at a certain radio zone by adding the proper number to the position informing signal through the mobile station. CONSTITUTION:In case the mobile station exists in radio zone B and the power source is made, it is supposed that the waves of the channels receivable at the mobile station are sent to transmitter 1a, 1b and 1c of the base station in that order. Here when transmitter 1a has transmission, the mobile station cannot receive the wave since it is in zone B but can receive the wave radiated next from transmitter 1b. Then the mobile station transmits the position informing signal. In this case, the mobile station's proper number is added to the signal, and as a result the existence of the mobile station at a certain radio zone can be known at the base station.
