PURPOSE:To provide an outdoor unit of a seperate type air conditioner for being capable of increasing a suction port, capable of omitting a partition plate, capable of improving a performance of heat exchanger and for being free from sharply decreasing in its capacity even if it is mounted adhesive to a wall surface. CONSTITUTION:Four side are surrounded with an outer case 11. Suction ports are located at a back plate 12 and a right plate 13, and an exhaust port is situated at a front plate 14. A compressor 15 is mounted at a corner where the back plate 12 and the right plate 13 cross. A blower 16 and a motor 17 for the blower are placed at a corner being opposite to the compressor 15. And a heat exchanger 18 is located approximately on a diagonal line of the outer case 11 so that the compressor 15 and the blower 16 are partitioned off by the heat exchanger.
