Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the movement of the objective lens in undesirable directions and achieve miniaturization by providing the first and second leaf springs which are secured at one end to the objective lens or its holding member and secured at the other end to another support member and which can deflect in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens.
CONSTITUTION: An objective lens 21 is mounted to a cylindrical holding tube 22. The holding tube 22 is connected to a coil bobbin 25 by means of two sheets of leaf springs 23, 24 of magnetic material. The two sheets of these tracking leaf springs 23, 24 do not bend in the optical axis direction and move integrally with the lens 21 and coil bobbin 25 with respect to focusing. With the bobbin 25 being sandwiched from the outside and inside, a magnet 27 is disposed. When current is flowed to one of the electromagnets 33, 33' provided opposedly to the inside surface of the inside tubular portion of said magnet, the leaf springs 23, 24 are attracted. Since this causes the lens holding tube 22 to move in the direction B-B' perpendicular to the optical axis, tracking controlling may be thereby accomplished.
