Abstract
PURPOSE: The heating of glutamic or pyroglutamic acid and glycine is carried out in the presence of acetophenone to produce selectively and simply title compound useful as precursor of physiologically active peptides, such as gastrin, and as cosmetics because of its antibiotic and moisture absorbing effect.
