Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare stevia sweetening agent free from characteristic small and bitter taste, by extracting leaves of Stevia rebaundiana Bertone with water, treating the extract with a nonpolar synthetic adsorbent resin followed by desorption, and further treating with an ion exchange resin, etc.
