Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a colorful waterproof layer having improved tar bleeding property, by applying an aqueous coating compound comprising a polyvinyl acetate emulsion as a binder to a specific waterproof tar urethane layer.
CONSTITUTION: (A) An aqueous coating compound comprising 50W90wt%, preferably 60W80wt% of a pigment ingredient, a polyvinyl acetate emulsion as a binder (preferably a wide particle size distribution), and, if necessary, various types of additives, is applied to (B) a waterproof urethane layer containing 1W35wt% of tar ingredients. The waterproof layer is preferably formed by applying a mixture of (a) an ingredient comprising a petroleum tar and a hardener, e.g. an amine, etc. and (b) a prepolymer obtained from polypropylene glycol and tolylene diisocyanate to a substrate.
