Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the texture of an image from being wetted with a magnetic fluid and accordingly fro being blotted by making the surface of a recording member , which carries a magnetic latent image, liquid-repulsive and by attracting the magnetic attraction of the magnetic latent image.
CONSTITUTION: A water-repulsive film forming section 11 is constructed of a reservoir filled up with a water-repulsive liguid 3 and a roller 5. When a drum 16 is turned in the direction of arrow, the roller 5 forms a water-repulsive film 4 on the surface of a recording member 1 carrying a magnetic latent image 2. After that, the member 1 has its surface supplied with the magnetic liquid 9 at a developing section 12 which is constructed of a reservoir 10 filled up with the fluid 9 so that the image theron is visualized and transferred at a transfer section 14. The fluid 9 is attracted to the surface of the member 1 by the magnetic attraction of the magnetic latent image but is prevened from wetting the texture so that a visual image having no texture blotted can be formed
