Abstract

PURPOSE: To assure is lockup force, by providing an electromagnet inside the front of a gondola door and providing an iron piece corresponding to the electromagnet in another gondola door or a gondola frame corresponding to the former gondola door and connecting a variable resistor in series to the coil of the electromagnet.
CONSTITUTION: When a door closing instruction is applied, a relay contact OP is closed and the elctromagnet 5 is energized. When the door has been closed, the iron piece 6 is attracted by the electromagnet 5 and floatingly supported by a pin 14 and a spring 16, so that the iron piece is tightly fitted on an iron core 10 independently of the state of closing of the door. A strong attractive force is caused between the electromagnet 5 and the iron piece 6, and the door is locked up by the force. Since the force can be freely varied by the variable resistor R regardless of the capacity of motor, the strong attractive force is assured
