Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress as much as possible the transmission detouring signal with the operation mode by securing variation of the attenuation quantity of the IF circuit forming the reception part between the operation mode and the detection mode, and thus to carry out detection by utilizing the detouring signal in the detection mode. CONSTITUTION:The reception signals arriving through reflection from the target are applied to mixer 4 through switch 3. While the signal of oscillator 5 is also applied to mixer 4. Thus, the reception signal is converted to the IF signal, and this converted signal is then led to the processor which processes the radar signal. Under the normal operation mode, the attenuation quantity of the IF attenuator is set large to suppress the detouring from the transmission an much an possible. When the radar device is put under the detection mode, the control signal of a fixed level is applied from second control signal generator so that the transmission detouring signal at the output of attenuator 9 may be increased to the prescribed level. Then the detouring signal obtained at the output of attenuator 9 is led to detection circuit 14 to be used as the various kinds of detection signals for the radar reception system.
