Abstract
PURPOSE: Title coating composition satisfying the functions of labor and energy saving and environmental safety and healthy, that is composed of an acrylic resin containing (meth)acrylic acid and (meth)acrylate esters, an amino-formaldehyde resin and an acid catalyst.
CONSTITUTION: Said composition comprises (A) 100 parts by wt of an acrylic resin with 20- 50°C glass transition point and 180W280 hydroxyl value that is prepared by the copolymerization of a monomer mixture containing (a) 1W15wt% of (meth) acrylic acid, (b) 85W99wt% of 1-12C alkyl acrylate and/or 1-12C alkyl methacrylate and, when necessary, (c) other copolymerizable monomers in an amount of 50wt% or less of (b), (B) 5W160 parts of an amino-formaldehyde resin etherified with 1-4C monohydric alcohol and (c) 0.5 part, per 100 parts of the mixed resin of (A) and (B), of an acid catalyst
