Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an electric cleaner, in which dust collected therein can be compacted spontaneously and can be solidified positively by keeping the dust in compressed condition for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: When accessory parts 2, 4, 5, 6 are stored or put into recesses 7W9 after use, compression plate 17 is urged downward by either of these accessory parts so that dust collected in the cleaner is compressed and compacted. In use of the cleaner, on the other hand, suction hose 2 and other accessory parts are taken out of the recesses 7 or others, so that compression plate 17 is returned to its original position by the force of coil spring 20 and comes into close contact with filter 16. Accordingly, dust is loaded in the sliding portion of knob 18, so that movement of the compression plate 17 is not affected at all
