Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an electric cleaner, in which a pair of covers are provided on both sides of an opening that is formed at the bottom of dust collecting case, such that they can be turned pivotally to facilitate discharging of dust collected in the dust collecting case downwards from the same, whereby it is enabled to prevent attaching of dust to the body or clothes of user.
CONSTITUTION: Dust collecting case 4 is provided with a handle 4a at its top and a dust discharging opening 14 at its bottom, and a pair of covers 15, 16 are provided on both sides of said opening 14 in the manner that they can be turned pivotally around respective axes parallel with the length of said 4a. By opening these two covers 15, 16 in opposite directions, dust in the case 4 can be discharged to the outside smoothly
