Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a numerical control apparatus for improvement of reliability on working control of a tool, wherein if an interruption of working of a workpiece is required the tool is withdrawn from the workpiece without fail and safely stopped, and in addition functions are provided by which treatments and a restoring operation after the interruption are easily carried out.
CONSTITUTION: In operation of a lathe, when by instructions from a numerical control apparatus 3 a tool 2 is working a workpiece 1 along a path through a point A, a point B and a point B, and if it is required at the point C to interrupt the working from any reason, an interruption signal is generated inside or outside of the control apparatus.
