Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate connection operations of lead wires to electrode styli and field control electrodes and achieve higher speed of recording by providing field control electrodes for every group near the electrode styli. CONSTITUTION:Eight electrode styli 131 thru 138 are divided to two groups of, e.g., 131 thru 134 and 135 thru 138. The respectively opposing 131 and 135, 132 and 136, 133 and 137 and 134 and 138 of the respective groups are connected commonly through switches 171 thru 174 to terminals A1 thru A4 and conductive materials 151 thru 158 are connected through terminals B1, B2, switches 181, 182 for each of groups 151 thru 154, 156 thru 158 to control power sources whereby the field control electrodes for every group are constituted by the conductive materials 151 thru 154, 155 thru 158. Such constitution facilitates the connection operations of lead wires to the electrodes stlyi and field control electrodes and enables the signals to be inputted simultaneously to the pulral electrode styli within the same group, thus making possible high speed recording.
