Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve the earlier and surer discovery of fire by increasing sensitivity in response to the increase in the velocity of gas current in supervising space. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric elements 7a thru 7c disposed to the smoke detecting chambers 3a thru 3c formed in a dark box 1 are connected to discrimination circuits 9a thru 9c via amplifiers 8a thur 8c to constitute smoke detection parts 5a thru 5c. A switching circuit 12 via AND circuit 11 and a sensitivity control circuit 14 via OR circuit 13 are connected to the discrimination circuits 9a thru 9c. Then, when fire breaks out in the supervising space and smoke evolves and subsequently enters the smoke detecing chambers 3a thru 3c, then the smoke deteciton parts 5a thru 5c, OR circuit 13 and sensitivity control circuit 14 actuate to gradually decrease the sensitivities of the respective smoke detection parts 5a thru 5c with lapse of time and when all the smoke detection parts 5a thru 5c actuate, the switching circuit 12 actuates to alarm the outbreak of the fire.
