Abstract
PURPOSE: To produce CaSO42H2O, which (002) plane extremely grows, by once changing CaSO42H2O, which (002) crystal plane slowly grows, into CaSO41/2H2O, and by recrystallizing it by adding water.
CONSTITUTION: CaSO41/2H2O is produced by heating drying said CaSO42H2O under conditions, such as, a condition at 110°C and for 6 hrs., etc. The CaSO41/2H2O is recrystallized by addition mixing not less than 25 wt. % water to it. Thus is obtained gypsum with the large diffraction X ray strength ratio of (002) crystal plane to (020) crystal plane. The gypsum is used for synthesizing calciumaiuminatetrisulfatehydrate (3CaO.Al2O3.3CaSO4.31W32H2O), and can accelerate its reaction velocity
