Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent appearance, elongation, and impact resistance, containing a thermoplastic resin, and decabromodiphenyl ether or decabromodiphenyl.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a thermoplastic resin, (B) 4-120 parts of decabromodiphenyl ether and/or decabromodiphenyl having an average particle diameter of ≤ 3μ, and (C) 0-40 parts of a flame-retardancy accelerating agent which is effective to reduce the amount of the above flame retardant, e.g. Sb2O3, SnO2, AI(OH)3, ZrO2, etc
