Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a heat insulating panel in high productivity by a low-cost plant, by foaming a foamable liquid urethane in a frame, and pressing the surface of the foamed liquid prior to the solidiffication of the liquid.
CONSTITUTION: A foamable liquid urethane 6 is poured into a frame 4, and the upper surface of the liquid is covered with a release paper 7. The surface of the liquid 6 is pressed with a molding member 8 before th completion of foaming, there- by making the thickness uniform. The molding member 8 is lifted to the upper level of the frame 4 restricting the level of the expanding surface of the liquid urethane 6. Befre solidificaton of the liquid, the molding member is further lifted, and the urethane is solidified to obtain a urethane foam 9. The conveyor 1 is moved along the direction of arrow 10, and a back panel is fastened to the release-paper side of the frame 2 to afford a heat insulating panel or door
