Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the rise in intake temperature of engine and prevent the overheat of fuel tank and controllers, by separating respective units from one another by partition walls. CONSTITUTION:A machine chamber 11a containing the engine 1 and an electric generator 2, a fuel tank chamber 11b containing the fuel tank 3, and a silencing chamber 11d for silencing the noises of suction to the engine 1 are defined by partition walls 11e, 11f, 11g, 11h, 23 in a first casing 11. The controllers 5a, 5b, 5c are accommodated in a second casing 12 removably fitted to the first casing 11. Because the first casing 11 is defined by the partition walls, the rise in the suction temperature of the engine is suppressed and the fall in the performance of the engine and the overheat of the fuel tank 3 are prevented and the suction noises are reduced. Since the first casing 11 and the second casing 12 are divided from each other, the overheat of the controllers is prevented. Only the first casing 11 needs to have a structure for insulating heat and noises. Therefore, the production cost is reduced.
