Abstract

PURPOSE: To install P valve and G valve functionally in a two-way brake system, with each of the brake systems capable of producing fluid pressure more than twice as much as regular output in the event of faulty operation of alternate system, thereby assuring greater safety of operation.
CONSTITUTION: In the event of a rupture of the first feed pipe 20, as in the case of the second feed pipe 22, brake fluid pressure in a fluid chamber 28 ceases to exist. Therefore, pressure in the chamber 28 should be doubled over a normal level to close the secnid P valve. In the event of a reduction in the braking power due to a trouble in one of the two brake systems, the rotation of G ball 46 in G valve unit 200 is delayed, providing a corresponding rise in the pressure level of fluid admitted into an inlet port 43, slightly increasing the stroke of a piston 44 over normal motion and compressing a spring 36 with a corresponding ascent in the break pont, thereby providing a brake system with adequate performance commensurate to loadage
